About Eli

I am an Ayurveda doctor and Yoga teacher, trained in Yogatherapy and advanced biomechanics. I have been teaching Vinyasa and Ashtanga Yoga for a few years, and I like to integrate concepts of health and biomechanics into my classes. I found in Yoga and Ayurveda a concept of health and freedom that resonated with me and how I wanted to live, and since I discovered it I have not stopped practicing, studying and teaching. Pranayama and movement are for me an anchor to the earth, a return to calm. I live in Malaga although I am from Argentina, and I love the connection with nature that this city offers us. Gentle Yoga Flow Classes

These classes are a mixture of Hatha and Vinyasa styles and are suitable for everyone. The focus is on the breath and allowing the movements to simply flow. After a gentle warm up, we start to gradually build heat with yoga asana (poses) to strengthen and stretch the whole body. Each asana is explained in detail so beginners and more advanced students can feel confident that they are doing the pose safely. We will then flow the movements with the breath. The classes finish with gentle stretches to calm the mind and body and a guided relaxation to leave you feeling energised and focused for the rest of your day.

Practicing Yoga can help strengthen the body, improve posture, increase flexibility, mobility and body awareness (proprioception) and can decrease pain. Alongside the physical benefits of practicing Yoga, drawing our awareness to our breath is an easy way of calming the body and mind, improving digestion and can decrease stress and improve sleep.
